San Francisco — Foundry College has partnered with the Ideate Project to expand its career support services for learners in the Foundry College Tulsa program. Ideate Project’s job placement platform will complement services already available to students, which include one-on-one coaching sessions, access to academic mentors, job club participation, and more. All services, including those of Ideate Project, are provided at no cost to the learner.
The Ideate Project provides access to exclusive internship, jobs, and funding opportunities in the technology sector to individuals who need it most, regardless of race, age, gender, or academic pedigree. Ideate works to empower people of all backgrounds to flourish by providing them with the community, educational content, and opportunities necessary for economic mobility and long-term career success.
“Foundry College’s credentialed certificate programs combine the durable professional skills that employers seek with in-demand, job-relevant credentials, preparing them for the jobs of today and tomorrow,” said Dr. Akiba Covitz, president and CEO of Foundry College. “By partnering with Ideate Project, Tulsa’s employers will have direct access to our learners, who are well-prepared to be excellent employees.”
The first graduates of the Foundry College Tulsa program will be poised to begin their job searches this spring after earning credentialed certificates in either Salesforce administration or project management. Participation in the Foundry College Tulsa program is generously underwritten by the George Kaiser Family Foundation and Atento Capital, and certificates can be completed in as little as eight months.
“The Ideate Project is excited about the opportunity to partner with Foundry College to support their students’ career success,” said Chandler Malone, CEO and Founder of the Ideate Project. “Foundry College’s team and mission are completely aligned with our goals of helping provide economic mobility through careers in the technology sector. We are excited to work closely with our employer partners to connect them with Foundry College’s talent and provide a new pathway to career success.”
